A Pakistani police officer has been killed while on his way to provide security to polio vaccination workers, reports the Dawn (Karachi).
On Tuesday, gunmen opened fire on the officer on his way to work in Bannu, in southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, said a spokesman. The province is conducting an anti-polio drive.
The attackers fled on a motorbike.
