Indian police and paramilitaries arrested a top Maoist leader in a village near Bokaro in the eastern Jharkhand state, reports the Calcutta Telegraph.
Police sources said that J. Narshimha Reddy, also known as Jampanna or Gaganna, was arrested with four others late Saturday night.
Reddy, a member of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) (CPI-M) central military commission, had a bounty of US$21,000 for his capture and was wanted for a number of crimes in Andhra Pradesh,...
