Police Killed By Homemade Bomb Attack

A remote-controlled bomb exploded Tuesday in the center of the Algerian city of Bordj Menaiel, east of Algiers, killing two police officers, Deutsche Presse-Agentur reports.
The bomb was detonated just as a police patrol passed, according to witnesses.
At least three civilians were also injured, security officials said.
