Police Killed, Captured In Taliban Attack In Badakhshan Province

At least four police officers have been killed and 16 abducted by Taliban fighters in northeastern Afghanistan, reports Afghanistan's Khaama Press.
Dozens of militants stormed a police post overnight in Badakhshan province, provincial security officials said on Thursday.
The attack sparked a long battle in the mountainous area, said officials.
Two other police officers were injured, reported AFP.
The militants reportedly seized two police trucks and ammunition.
