Police Arrest 17 In Connection With President's Assassination

Haitian police have detained more than a dozen suspects in connection with the assassination of President Jovenel Moise on Wednesday, reports CNN.

Chief of Police Leon Charles said on Thursday that 17 people had been detained by authorities.

Police are searching for at least eight more suspects, said Elections Minister Mathias Pierre. They include two Haitian-Americans, he said.
