Plotter Involved In Dhaka Cafe Attack Dies In Shootout With Police

Police in Bangladesh say they have killed a man who helped organize last year's terror attack on a cafe in Dhaka, reports Agence Frence-Presse.

Nurul Islam Marzan and another suspect were killed Friday during a raid in Dhaka's Rayer Bazar neighborhood, said a police spokesman.

Marzan, 30, was wanted for his role in an attack on the Holey Artisan Bakery in July 2016 that left at least 20 hostages dead, the spokesman said.
