Defense chiefs from Australia and New Zealand have finalized an agreement on a joint ready response force, reports the Australian Dept. of Defense.
The joint statement issued Friday in Canberra on the ANZAC ready-response force formalizes a bilateral government initiative to plan and train for emergency response missions in the Pacific.
