Plans Set To Kick Off Reconnaissance Satellite Program

South Korea says it is going to develop a military reconnaissance satellite program, reports the Yonhap news agency (Seoul).
The state arms procurement agency is expected to sign a contract for the satellite project in October, said a military official on Monday. About 1 trillion won (US$928.2 million) are going be earmarked for the development and production of the satellites.
