Plans Set For Additional Pandur APCs For Rapid Reaction Brigade

The Czech Defense Ministry has decided to order another 20 Pandur armored personnel carriers, reports the Czech News Agency.

A contract is expected to be finalized in July, Deputy Defense Minister Jiri Borovec said on Wednesday. The new vehicles will be modified for military staff and liaison missions.

The Czech army currently operates 107 Pandurs. Most of the new vehicles will be assigned to the 4th Rapid Reaction Brigade, said a top army official.
