Plans Move Forward For Combat UAV

The Russian Defense Ministry says it needs an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) capable of reconnaissance and attack, reports RIA Novosti.

The ministry issued a technical specification to develop the UAV, with the Tranzas company building the on-board electronics and navigation systems.

The Sokol design bureau will build the five-ton airframe, the Izvestia daily reported on Monday.
