Plans Made To Annex Ukrainian Regions Under Military Control

The Russian government plans to hold referenda to formally annex areas of Ukraine under its military control, reports Bloomberg News.
Referenda on formally becoming part of Russia would be held in the Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions on Sept. 15, two Kremlin insiders said.
The move echoes Russia’s illegal annexation of Crimea in 2014, analysts said.
