Russia has agreed to provide the Kazakh navy with another artillery missile ship, reports Interfax-AVN.
The warship will be built at the Urals Zenit plant, Russian officials said.
The missile boat is expected to be launched in May 2012, with final tests scheduled for that August.
Kazakhstan is in the midst of an armed forces modernization plan through 2015, Defense Minister Adilbek Jaksybekov said.
