Plans Call For NATO Multinational HQ In Vilnius

The NATO Military Committee has agreed to establish a multinational headquarters in the capital of Lithuania, reports the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense.
The headquarters in Vilnius will be set up this year and will link the national armed forces, allied forces deployed in Lithuania and the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), said Maj. Gen. Jonas Vytautas Zukas, the Lithuanian defense chief.
