Plans Call For 600 Troops To Deploy For U.N. Missions In Africa

The Canadian government has committed to a three-year peacekeeping deployment in Africa.

The mission will be reassessed every year to ensure that it has an "enduring" effect, Defense Minister Harjit Sajjan said in an interview with the Toronto Star.
