The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militant group has ended its unilateral cease-fire in Turkey, reports Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
The decision, announced on Thursday by the Kurdish Firat news agency, was made because of continued attacks by Turkey's military, said a PKK statement.
The PKK declared the truce last month ahead of general elections on Nov. 1.
