Pirates Err In Attack On French Naval Vessel

The French navy captured five Somali pirates who apparently mistook a French replenishment ship for a commercial cargo vessel, reports the Times of London.
Overnight Wednesday, pirates on two small skiffs attacked the Somme, a command and fuel supply ship used as a command center for all French military forces in the Indian Ocean.
The navy ship repelled the attack and gave chase, seizing one boat and five pirates after an hour-long chase, said Adm. Christophe Prazuck.
