Pilot Dies In Helicopter Crash Near Taif

A investigation has begun into Sunday’s fatal military helicopter crash.
A Saudi pilot was killed when his helicopter went down during a training mission, reports Agence France-Presse. The type of aircraft was not identified.
The air force aircraft crashed near the Saudi city of Taif, about 800 km (500 mi) from the border with Yemen, said the military.
A technical glitch was blamed, said a source at the Ministry of Defense, as cited by Arab News.
