A Greek fighter pilot was killed when two F-16s collided Thursday in mid-air during a military exercise south of Crete, reports Deutsche Presse-Agentur.
A single-seater F-16 and a two-seater variant were flying as part of a formation of four planes when they hit, reported the Press Association (U.K.).
The pilots in the two-seat F-16 ejected immediately after the collision and were rescued, said the air force. One sustained serious injuries, reported Agence France-Presse. ...
