A Bangladeshi air force helicopter has crashed at its base in Chittagong after experiencing technical problems, reports bdnews24.com.
The pilot of the Mi-17 helicopter sent a distress call about a mechanical failure shortly after taking off, said airport officials.
The helicopter crashed shortly thereafter, injuring all three personnel onboard. The pilot was badly burned, according to the Daily Star (Dhaka).
