Phenix Tanker For French Air Force Takes Initial Flight

Airbus Defence and Space has announced the maiden flight of the first of nine A330 multi-role tanker transports (MRTT) for the French air force.

The initial flight on Sept. 7 lasted for 3 hours and 25 minutes. The aircraft performed as expected, the company said.
