Petrol Bombs, Stones Thrown In Belfast Riots

There has been major rioting in east Belfast between Catholics and Protestants, Bloomberg News reports.

Petrol bombs, fireworks, bricks, stones and smoke bombs were all used Monday, said a police spokeswoman. Two men were reportedly hospitalized with gunshot wounds.

Scores of masked men were blamed for the attack by Sinn Fein political leaders, reported the Belfast Telegraph. It was the second night of violence in the area.
