Iraqi Kurdish peshmerga officers have completed a chemical weapons training course, reports Rudaw (Iraqi Kurdistan).
On Wednesday, 22 officers graduated from the month-long German-run course, said Islam Askandar Zebari, the chief of the Counter Chemical Regiment Command of the Peshmerga Ministry.
All departments, brigades and regiments now have officers trained in how to respond to and protect against chemical weapon attacks, he said.
