Pentagon's Research Agency Backs Anti-Ship Missile Work

The Pentagon's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has awarded a contract to Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Orlando, Fla., for additional work on the long-range anti-ship missile (LRASM) program, reports the Dept. of Defense.
Lockheed's $60.4 million contract modification is for additional development and demonstration work on the program.
