The Dept. of Defense says it will accelerate the development of new cyberweapons due to "urgent, mission-critical" needs, the Washington Post reports.
The plan was outlined in a 16-page Pentagon report recently submitted to Congress and obtained by the Post.
The rapid process will allow the Pentagon to field cyberweapons against specific targets in a matter of days in certain cases, according to the report.
