Pentagon officials say more special operations personnel will be sent to Yemen to speed the training of Yemen's counterterrorism forces, the Wall Street Journal reports.
The same group of special operators will be rotated more frequently. Some of those operators will remain in Yemen for longer tours, defense officials added.
The new deployment schedule will lead to a significant increase in total American personnel, according to the Pentagon.
