Pentagon Awards Contract Modification To Develop F-35 Fighters For Seoul

The Naval Air Systems Command has awarded Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Fort Worth, Texas, a contract modification for the F-35 Lightning II program, reports the Dept. of Defense.
The $450 million deal modifies a previously awarded low-rate initial production Lot 10 F-35 advance acquisition contract, said the Pentagon on Dec. 29.
