Pentagon Acknowledges It Is Looking At More Troops For Middle East

Top defense officials say Defense Secretary Mark Esper is considering sending more troops to the Middle East in response to possible Iranian attacks in the region, reports Politico.

Undersecretary of Defense for Policy John Rood clarified the situation after the Pentagon initially denied a report in the Wall Street Journal that plans were being made to send another 14,000 personnel to the Middle East.
