Pegasus Completes Wing Refueling Pod Testing

The U.S. Air Force's new KC-46 Pegasus tanker aircraft has successfully completed testing of its wing aerial refueling pods (WARPs), reports Edwards Air Force Base in California.
The pods, which use the hose-and-drogue system employed by Navy aircraft, successfully demonstrated their ability to transfer fuel to an AV-8B Harrier, F/A-18D Hornet and EA-18G Growler during the trials, the base said in a release last week.
