The Nigerian army's peacekeeping facility has been certified by the United Nations as a center of excellence for training in peace support operations, reports This Day (Lagos).
The formal accreditation of the Nigerian Army Peacekeeping Center (NAPKC) in Jaji qualifies the center to manage U.N. training activities.
The center currently conducts courses for military observers, command and staff operations, as well as pre-deployment training for peacekeepers.
