The first group of Kenyan troops has arrived home after being pulled from the U.N. peacekeeping mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), reports Reuters.
Last week, Nairobi announced it would withdraw its forces after a U.N. report accused the Kenyans of failing to respond to an attack on a hotel in Juba. Lt. Gen. Johnson Ondieki, the Kenyan commander of UNMISS, was fired after the report was issued.
