Finland officially concluded its peacekeeping operation in Kosovo last week, reports the YLE News, the Finnish Broadcasting Corp.
The Finnish contingent turned responsibility for its operations area to U.S. troops during a ceremony at Lipljan.
The 200 Finnish troops will spend the rest of the year dismantling the base before returning home, said officials.
By early 2011, plans call for only 20 Finns to remain in Kosovo, where they will serve as headquarter staff and liaison...
