Nigerian peacekeepers have threatened to mutiny in western Sudan.
The Nigerians serving with the U.N.-African Union mission in Darfur (UNAMID) will resort to violence unless they are paid and airlifted back home by July 3, reports the Daily Trust (Abuja).
The soldiers delivered their ultimatum to that effect on Monday. Their six-month tour of duty ended on May 26.
