President Donald Trump says that a nearly completed peace deal with the Taliban is off the table and that there are no plans to hold further negotiations, reports the Washington Post.
"As far as I'm concerned, they're dead," Trump told reporters on Monday, as quoted by BBC News.
Trump announced on Saturday that he had cancelled plans to host Taliban and Afghan leaders at the presidential retreat at Camp David in Maryland.
