The U.S. Air Force says it has successfully used the F-35C Joint Strike Fighter to hit a moving target with a guided weapon.
An F-35C employed a specially built GBU-12 Paveway II guided bomb against a moving pickup truck on March 29 at a range at Naval Air Weapons State China Lake in California, said the Air Force on Thursday.
