Patrol Clashes With Maoist Rebels In Orissa

Indian police say they have killed two Maoists in a clash in Orissa state's Bargarh district, the Press Trust of India reports.
A special operations group encountered the Maoists late Monday night in the Gandhamardan hills near Paikamal, said police.
The government forces were said to be on an anti-militant operation patrol at the time.
