Patria Armored Vehicle Order May Be Cut To 70

Slovenia may reduce its order for 135 armored fighting vehicles (AFVs) from Finnish defense company Patria, Defense News reports.

The original $355 million order was signed in 2006 and called for delivery by 2014. So far, Slovenia has taken delivery of 24 vehicles.

Slovenia now expects to reduce that order to as few as 70 vehicles, defense officials said.
