The Parliament has agreed to extend Canada's participation in the NATO mission in Libya until September, reports Postmedia News.
Tuesday's vote was nearly unanimous, being opposed only by the leader of the Green Party.
The Canadian government, meanwhile, agreed to boost humanitarian aid to the region and recognize the rebel National Transitional Council as the "legitimate representative" of Libya's citizens.
