The Danish Parliament has passed legislation enabling the government to strip Danish citizenship from citizens who fought with ISIS without trial, reports Deutsche Welle.
Parliament approved the measure on Oct. 24.
Under the new legislation, Denmark’s immigration and integration minister will be able to revoke Danish citizenship from ISIS fighters while they are abroad without a court ruling. Such a ruling was previously required before citizenship could be revoked.
