The Iraqi government has agreed to increase funding for Kurdish peshmerga forces, reports Kurdistan 24.
On Sunday, the Parliament's Security and Defense Committee approved a US$57 million increase to the defense ministry budget to cover the salaries of Kurdish peshmerga forces, said a Kurdish official following the meeting.
