Parliament Approves Additional Force For Sahel Missions

The Danish Parliament has approved additional military deployments to missions in Africa's Sahel region, reports the Danish Ministry of Defense.

On Thursday, lawmakers approved two separate deployments to the semi-arid region south of the Sahara desert, the ministry said in a release. 

Copenhagen will send a C-130J transport and up to 65 personnel for a six-month deployment to the U.N. Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) beginning in mid-November...
