France has decided to buy 260 Javelin missiles and 76 launchers from the U.S. government, says French Defense Minister Herve Morin, as reported by Defense News.
The purchase, to be made through the U.S. Foreign Military Sales program, is valued at around $70 million.
Morin's announcement ends a competition between the U.S. and Rafael of Israel to supply France with fire-and-forget missiles.
Delivery is scheduled to conclude before the end of the year, with the missiles...
