A French court has sentenced four Somali pirates to prison terms of four to 10 years for hijacking a yacht in the Gulf of Aden in 2008, reports Radio France Internationale.
Two other suspects were acquitted by the Paris court.
The luxury ship Le Ponant was seized in April 2008. Th 30 people on board were held for ransom.
French special operators arrested the six suspects, ages 25 to 50, in an airborne operation after the ransom was paid.
