The Indonesian army has decided to purchase Pandur II 8 x 8 wheeled armored vehicles from an Austrian firm as part of the military's modernization program, reports Antara News, Indonesia's national news agency.
The procurement has been included in the 2017 strategic plan, said Gen. Mulyono, the army chief of staff, on Monday.
