Israeli police clashed with Palestinian protesters late Sunday in an East Jerusalem neighborhood where 22 Palestinian homes are set to be razed for a tourist park, the New York Times reports.
Jerusalem's mayor approved the demolition of the illegally built houses, reported Ha'aretz (Israel).
About 200 to 250 Palestinian youths threw stones, bricks and Molotov cocktails near a Jewish house in the Silwan neighborhood, police said.
