Palestinian Shot Dead After Attacking Police

A Palestinian driver was shot and killed in Jerusalem on Friday after he tried to run down two border guards, Ha'aretz (Israel) reports.

The man struck the guards in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Wadi al-Joz, police said. He then reportedly fled the scene on foot and was shot after refusing to stop.

The guards were not injured seriously, officials said.

Police believe the incident was a terrorist attack, reported Ynet News.
