Palestinian Officials Push Back On U.S. Peace Plan

Palestinian leaders have criticized the newly announced U.S. peace plan for the region, reports Reuters.
At a news conference on Wednesday, senior Palestine Liberation Organization official Hanan Ashrawi called the proposal "divorced from reality."
Thousands of Palestinians demonstrated in Gaza against the plan.
The conference to discuss the plan began on Tuesday in Manama, the capital of Bahrain.
