Palestinian Gunman Killed Near Border Fence

Israeli troops shot and killed a Palestinian gunman on Friday as he was attempting to plant explosives near the Gaza border fence at the Karni crossing, Ynet News (Israel) reports, citing military and Palestinian sources.

The militant tried to throw a grenade at the soldiers from the Givati Brigade, said military officials. No Israeli casualties were reported.
