Paladins To Be Upgraded, Other Options Possible

The Army expects to complete the Paladin Integrated Management (PIM) upgrade program for Paladin M109 self-propelled howitzers, but will also examine other options for the long term, say service officials cited by Defense News.
The Army will buy 440 PIM systems to meet "immediate war-fighting needs," said Brig. Gen. Mark Brown, deputy for acquisition and systems management.
