A roadside bombing in Pakistan's Bajaur agency, a tribal area on the border with Afghanistan, killed a government administrator and six local police officers over the weekend, reports Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
Fawad Khan, the assistant administrator, was travelling with police to attend a meeting when their vehicle was hit Sunday with the bomb in the town of Mamoond, reported Al Jazeera (Qatar). The number of casualties was variously reported.
