Two military aircraft crashes in recent weeks have exposed ongoing problems faced by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) despite extensive investment in the armed forces, reports the South China Morning Post. The first incident occurred around three weeks ago, when a transport helicopter crashed in the central Henan province, killing three crewmembers.
